Scarecrows have been around in some form or another since the game was first released. What they do, other than scare you, is vary from mod to mod. Some scare you by throwing rocks, others use sounds, and some even use real scarecrows. However, all of them do the same thing: they just scare you. And that's not something that you want in your game.
Now, if you're one of the people that had to deal with crows eating your crops, you can stop worrying about it. This mod makes it so that crows won't eat your crops.
